Quote of the Month

"Time is the scarcest resource and unless it is managed, nothing else can be managed."

   -Peter Drucker

Interview Response of the Month

We had to deny a candidate the opportunity to start up his computer and run us through a PowerPoint presentation.  After several requests, we allowed him to start it up.  Unfortunately for him, his computer would not start up since it was too cold from being in his car.  Minutes later, he finally gave up and asked us, “You still like me, don’t you?”

Proven Resumes

You might have noticed the "lowlight" description above.  We decided to illustrate a somewhat sinister aspect of hiring...embellished resumes.  These services provide candidates with enhancements to their resume.  We are all for highly presentable resumes, but as you have seen, the candidate's aptitudes, skills, motivations and style are far more indicative of future success.  A well worded, eye-catching resume should always be taken with a grain of salt.
